GETTING OUT OF THE ENERGY SLUMP
I have been energy slumps several times over the past years.
I eat badly,
I don’t feel connected.
I don’t meditate,
I want to sit in my pajamas and do nothing.
I eat badly,

I know what has gotten me into those moments…..but I hide from facing it.
My husband lost a job and we had to move to Texas, back to the heat…..after I worked so hard to move away from the heat.
My gallbladder failed me and I required surgery
My dog died, and took my happiness with her
My other dog got sick and had to be put to sleep
My relationship with certain family members was strained for a long time
We had moved from the State I loved, for my husband’s work
NOW WHAT?!?!?
Every time something has happened, and rocked my world, it has also rocked my Spiritual world.
I’m sure you can relate……
I’m sure you can relate……
I know I have a choice in fixing it. I have my spiritual tools. My guidance. But why am I slow to reach for them?
EGO loves suffering….
EGO loves suffering….
We always have a choice. Go spiritual or go EGO.
In moments of crisis events, we can head for the donut, or head for the meditation.
I have chosen both routes, and I gotta say its easier to come out of the slump if I am fixing it with Spirit guiding me.
So here are some tips to get out of an energy slump
1) Whenever something comes up, and before panic, worry, fear, anger sets in, meditate. It can just be breathing in for 4, hold for 4, and breathe out to a count of 8, not allowing the funky energy to take over, you will remain in your space of awareness.
2) If something is going on at home (fighting, lack of space, change of energy) maybe Spirit is bringing to your attention something that needs to be shifted. Sometimes when relationships are not in our best interest, things will happen to shake that tree up. So if its about home, look deeper into what needs to be changed.
3) Feeling horrible so now you are eating the stress? Put down the donut. Sugar and carbs, and animal protein lowers our vibration. So if you have been eating bad, and your body is now speaking to you, maybe its time to listen to your body. Cleaning up your diet cleans up your energy.
4) Are you watching the news? Listening to stressful podcasts? The fear based propaganda infiltrates our Ego mind and causes us to react, with you guessed it, more fear. Of course there are things going on that are upsetting, but you will spend a lot less of your energy if you are putting your heart to good use! Donate items to shelters, help the local food pantry, get involved in causes that make you feel good, raise your vibration, and bring more good to our world.
5)Dance. Seriously, dance. Turn on the music, bump it out, and release all of that built up stagnate energy you’ve accumulated. Dancing makes us feel free in our bodies. It raises our vibration and our endorphins. I love to turn on music and just move around the room cleaning or doing whatever. Feels good!
6) If you aren’t feeling the spiritual connection, change it up. Sometimes I have been reading a book, and all of the sudden it just stops resonating with me and I resist reading anymore of it. I received what I needed to hear! If the one meditation you use isn’t doing it for you, change it. I have found that by rotating my meditation play list, I have added variety and I get the added benefit of different techniques…..mindful meditation, chakra balancing, energy clearing, emotion release, grounding.
7) Bring out that smokey quartz, hold it in your receiving hand, and allow it to release negative or stagnant energy from you. Moonstone is good for bedtime, for dreams. Set your intentions for how you want your day to go. Smudge, smudge, smudge. Pull a tarot card to receive a daily message from Spirit. Use your tools!
When we are in a slump, there is something we are refusing to see in ourselves. so its time, take off the blinders, open the windows, and allow your soul to shine.
